Juanito Holandez Visual Storytelling

I started my photographic career shooting black and white images for my high school newspaper. Our favorite was the Kodak Tri-X film which we would push to the limits. We often have to shoot inside dimly lit gymnasiums using slow aperture lenses. Somehow it all worked out. It was simple and pure and it works. It reminds me to keep things simple. - JH

A gallery of photographs that inspires me to find a new angle and perspective on familiar places, things and people that oftentimes become routine images. I believe that a photographer must always strive to push the boundaries of his visual creativity to break away from the ordinary and to be continually inspired. - JH
