Dateline: Tokyo
Tokyo is a city that is both familiar and foreign to me. The combination of modern and traditional can be seen throughout the city. Kimono clad women mix with younger Japanese teens in their latest Western style outfits. One may end up at a Showa period restaurant for lunch or at an American fast food place if he or she wishes. The reserved smiles and politeness of the people live in my memory. One can spend a lifetime exploring this mega city and end up with so much more left to discover. I look and I gaze as I travel with my camera capturing what attracts my attention. With each new turn, a new face, a new place in this city of wonders. - JH
